Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Problem-Solving Court Case Manager to join our team. This role focuses on providing structured case management and support services to participants enrolled in specialized court programs, including Mental Health Court and Veterans Court. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with court officials, service providers, and community organizations to help participants achieve stability and reduce recidivism.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized case plans for program participants based on court directives and assessments.
  • Facilitate access to essential services such as housing, healthcare, education, employment, and behavioral health programs.
  • Monitor participant progress, track outcomes, and maintain accurate case notes and reports.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community resources and service providers to enhance program offerings.
  • Assist clients in fulfilling court-ordered obligations and achieving personal goals.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and court sessions to discuss participant progress and provide updates.
  • Evaluate program performance and identify areas for service improvement and resource development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to participants, helping them navigate challenges and stay on track.
  • Ensure compliance with judicial directives, program requirements, and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: An associate degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, public administration, or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in case management, social services, behavioral health, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Effective communication and active listening skills.
    • Proficiency in data entry and case management software.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented perspective.
  • Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk populations is highly desirable.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily onsite with occasional fieldwork.
  • Potential for limited remote work based on supervisor approval.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of community resources and human service programs.
  • Experience collaborating with legal and judicial systems.
  • Background in mental health services or addiction recovery programs.

  • Ability to pass a background check and comply with all court security and confidentiality protocols.
  • Willingness to participate in training and professional development activities.
